Founded on January, 1 st, 1957, the company whose predecessor was
Shandong Hua Gauze Company now possesses total capital RMB
48,990,000 Yuan, registered capital RMB 7,740,000 Yuan, 106 staff on
active duty, among them, 6 are advanced professional personnel, 23
are of middle level, 28 are of primary level, and there are 66 staff
who attended technical secondary school & junior college; four
administration sections are set including office, financial section,
storing section, security guard section; seven managing sections:
business section, preservation & transportation company, forwarder,
textile company, Yinhai company, Cotton Industry Joint-Stock
Company, Jinguang Ferroalloy Plant; the main operating facilities:
15 lines of large-scale storing warehouse with the area being 15000
square meters; 8 lines of material section with the area being 2880
square meters; the area of the open-goods-yard is 135000 square
meters; the handled cotton is 1,000,000 dan; there are two special
railway lines as 1377 meters long and a complete set of cotton
testing equipment.
The scope of business & modes of operation are mainly purchasing &
selling, storing on behalf of the state, the commodity materials
such as cotton, linter, cotton yarn etc. In recent years, under the
guidance of the spirit of the fifteenth People's National Congress,
the enterprise has been adhering to proper managing direction,
laying importance on management, deepening reforms of the
enterprise, developing markets actively, and participating in market
competition bravely, so that it obtained good economic results. At
the same time, the company strengthened safety control strictly, so
that there were no fire and severe accidents for 43 consecutive
years. In 1996 & 1998, it was twice named "National Advanced Unit on
Cotton Storing " by the All-China Supply and Marketing Society; in
1998, it was named Provincial Outstanding Enterprise on Ideological
& Political Work in Supply & Marketing System; in 1998~1999, it was
named Civilization Unit and "Strictly Abiding By Contracts &
